The First 5 Months!!

I've been busy in the studio and doing shoots outside (in our lovely mild winter weather) in the 5 short months since I opened my photo studio and went into business.  It's been exciting to have repeat clients in my home already and I am looking forward to growing my client list by attending a local trade show this weekend in Bonanza.

I'm so grateful to the GP Photo Club members for all their friendly help and advice and their willingness to help those of us just starting out in this business.  It's sure to be an adventure and I anticipate meeting lots of fabulous people along the way and I hope I can capture some memories for them.

Here are some highlights of  the winters sessions.  I have been posting on my FB Fan page regularly but since not everyone is a fan of  facebook I will share here as well (until I have a formal website).

My Cameras' have been busy

maternity and newborn pictures (thanks so much Deb for the privilege of taking photos for you)....My girl and her friends......my son (who's not real thrilled when he hears me ask "can you just let me take a few photos to practice") but who is a really great subject to photograph (if I do say so myself) and Kayla and her horses......that was a fun experience!

FALL into Photography

and its defnitely feeling like fall today but we had perfect weather for the wonderful, information packed weekend with Darwin and Samantha , lots of aha moments for me and I feel better equipped to go take landscape/nature photos and use the gear I have.  A few faves from the weekend (still bummed I missed the deadline saturday for getting my fave picture in for the contest as the prizes were amazing) and a couple that I took yesterday.  (note to self, don't set any gear down in tall grass and then forget where you put it, wasting an hour backtracking to find it LOL)
