Holiday sessions were fun even though the weather and illness seemed to put a kink in several bookings and made things interesting we managed a few....and a January grad and maternity session prior to our trip to Cuba.....and then a vacation where my camera was very busy.... so here you go with some sneak peeks.

one YEAR already!!

I can't believe its been a year since I opened up the studio and went into business for myself....and I must say its been a great year with so many wonderful sessions....adorable babies and special families...and I've thoroughly enjoyed capturing the memories for them.  I've been neglecting my blog, relying on my fb fan page because it seems the easiest and quickest method and frankly its really helped spread the word about my business but I know not everyone is on FB so I am going to make an effort to post regularly here.

An evening in the park

Enjoyed taking photos of Megan's fun family at the park over the weekend....... the weather cooperated and the mosquitoes even stayed away for us.  Kens idea of a photo in the (soon to be extinct) phonebooth was great!

For the LOVE of Nature

I love photographing Nature, birds and animals and the scenes around me and spring means the birds are back singing in the trees and the new calves are romping around.......such fun.  I was thrilled to get this hawk shot on a drive last week and the swans by the hundreds on a drive east yesterday!!

Enjoyed having Tuff come for his 6 month photos....Its really great seeing them grow up through my camera....and Avery's session was so much fun and a surprise for her grandma.

The First 5 Months!!

I've been busy in the studio and doing shoots outside (in our lovely mild winter weather) in the 5 short months since I opened my photo studio and went into business.  It's been exciting to have repeat clients in my home already and I am looking forward to growing my client list by attending a local trade show this weekend in Bonanza.

I'm so grateful to the GP Photo Club members for all their friendly help and advice and their willingness to help those of us just starting out in this business.  It's sure to be an adventure and I anticipate meeting lots of fabulous people along the way and I hope I can capture some memories for them.
